Squamish Constellation Festival

Squamish Constellation Festival

Ever since the Squamish Valley Music Festival and Pemberton Music Festival came to an end, Metro Vancouver and Sea to Sky music lovers have been hoping for another festival to fill the void. Squamish Constellation Festival could be just the ticket, with three days of bands, entertainers and visual artists, performing in Hendrickson Field. The event will be held from July 26 thru 28, 2019. Genres will include alt-pop, folk, indie, alt-rock, singer-songwriter, funk/soul, brass/big bands and some family acts.

A VIP area and packages are available. There will be plenty of blanket-style seating, with separate dancing areas. Food trucks as well as local beverages and brews will be available. According to Tamara Stanners, one of four Squamish-based festival directors, the three-day festival will be a “celebration of music, art, food and so much fun.”

The 2019 lineup currently includes Jessie Reyez, Bahamas, Serena Ryder, Half Moon Run, A Tribe Called Red, Current Swell, Wintersleep, Dear Rouge, Peach Pit, Shad, Jocelyn Alice, FoxWarren, Cosmo Sheldrake, Fast Romantics, Scenic Route to Alaska, Fred Penner, The Jerry Cans, Art D’Ecco and The Boom Booms.

Passes are available at https://www.constellationfest.ca/passes/buy-passes/. Serena Ryder will perform opening night, July 26. Jessie Reyez will be performing Saturday, July 27. Bahamas will be on stage Sunday, July 28. Single night passes are on sale now at https://www.constellationfest.ca/2019/05/21/single-day-passes-on-sale-now/.
